Summary
La inflación del mes de mayo del año 2015, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios del Productor (IPP), fue del 0,8%, superior a la tasa del -0,3% registrada en mayo del año pasado. Así, la inflación acumulada asciende al 0,4%, por encima del - 0,6% observado en mayo del 2014. Con estos datos, la inflación interanual del año 2015 asciende al 1,1%, superior al 0% correspondiente al mes de abril del corriente, y muy por debajo del 4,5% observado en mayo del año 2014.
En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES la inflación durante el mes de mayo del corriente fue del 0,3%, superior al -0,4% observado en el mismo mes del año anterior. Por su parte, la inflación acumulada se ubicó en -1,3%, por debajo del - 1,1% verificado en mayo del año pasado. Así, la inflación interanual para los bienes nacionales cerró con una tasa del -1,7%, superior al -2,3% de abril del 2015, y muy por debajo a la tasa del 5,7% verificada en mayo del año 2014.
Abstract
Inflation for May 2015, measured by the change in the Producer Price Index (PPI), was 0.8%, higher than the -0.3% rate recorded in May of last year. Thus, cumulative inflation reached 0.4%, above the -0.6% observed in May of 2014. With these data, year-on-year inflation for 2015 reached 1.1%, higher than the 0% observed in April of this year and well below the 4.5% observed in May of 2014.
For domestic products, inflation for May of this year was 0.3%, higher than the -0.4% observed in the same month of the previous year. Cumulative inflation, meanwhile, stood at -1.3%, below the -1.1% observed in May of last year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for domestic goods closed at a rate of -1.7%, higher than the -2.3% recorded in April 2015 and well below the 5.7% rate recorded in May 2014.
