Evolución del Índice de Precios del productor (ICC): en junio de 2015

Abstract

Inflation for May 2015, measured by the change in the Producer Price Index (PPI), was 0.8%, higher than the -0.3% rate recorded in May of last year. Thus, cumulative inflation reached 0.4%, above the -0.6% observed in May of 2014. With these data, year-on-year inflation for 2015 reached 1.1%, higher than the 0% observed in April of this year and well below the 4.5% observed in May of 2014. For domestic products, inflation for May of this year was 0.3%, higher than the -0.4% observed in the same month of the previous year. Cumulative inflation, meanwhile, stood at -1.3%, below the -1.1% observed in May of last year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for domestic goods closed at a rate of -1.7%, higher than the -2.3% recorded in April 2015 and well below the 5.7% rate recorded in May 2014.
