las exportaciones registradas alcanzaron USD 8.009,5 millones, superior en 2,5% al
registrado a noviembre del año anterior. Con respecto a las reexportaciones, estas se incrementaron en
términos acumulados en 2,6%, comparando con el mismo periodo del año anterior, totalizando USD
2.365,8 millones a noviembre del 2016. Por su parte, las otras exportaciones, que contemplan la
reparación de bienes y productos adquiridos en puertos por medios de transporte, entre otros, alcanzaron
USD 29,6 millones, representando un incremento acumulado de 6,4%.
Abstract
As of November 2017, the country's total foreign trade figures (exports plus imports) amounted to USD 21,637.9 million, representing a 12.8% increase compared to the same period in 2016. Specifically, total exports through the eleventh month of 2017 reached USD 11,149.5 million, representing a 7.3% increase compared to the total through November 2016, mainly due to a growth in the value of re-exports, approximately 30%, of industrial manufactures, with increases of 20.7%, as well as the improved performance of traditional products such as soybeans and meat, with increases of 14.9% and 5.3%, respectively. For its part, total imports accumulated through November 2017 reached USD
10,488.4 million, representing a 19.4% increase compared to November 2016. Imports by type of goods showed positive results, with expansions in consumer goods of 20.9%, intermediate goods of 18.9%, and capital goods of 28.2%.
With these results, the trade balance closed with a surplus of USD 661.1 million.
