Summary
Desde comienzos del año 2014 las exportaciones mensuales observaron un aumento hasta abril,
período a partir del cual registró una disminución paulatinamente. No obstante, este
comportamiento tiene un carácter estacional, dado que generalmente la mayor parte de las
exportaciones se realiza en los primeros meses del año, como se observa también en el patrón de
comportamiento de los envíos realizados en el año 2013.
En términos acumulados, al cierre del mes octubre de 2014 las exportaciones registradas
totalizaron USD 8.529,3 millones, 3,6% superior al monto registrado en el mismo periodo del
año anterior. Por otro lado, al considerar las reexportaciones y la partida “otros”1
, las
exportaciones totales acumuladas se situaron en USD 11.648,7 millones.
Abstract
From the beginning of 2014, monthly exports increased until April, after which they gradually declined. However, this trend is seasonal, given that the majority of exports generally occur in the first few months of the year, as can also be seen in the pattern of shipments made in 2013. In cumulative terms, at the end of October 2014, recorded exports totaled USD 8,529.3 million, 3.6% higher than the amount recorded in the same period of the previous year. On the other hand, when considering re-exports and the "other" item, total cumulative exports stood at USD 11,648.7 million.
