Summary
La inflación del mes de abril del año 2017, medida por la variación del Índice de
Precios del Productor (IPP), fue del 0,1%, superior a la tasa del -0,9% registrada en
abril del año pasado. Así, la inflación acumulada asciende al -0,3%, por encima del -
0,4% observada en abril del 2016. Con estos datos, la inflación interanual del año
2017 asciende al 4,3%, mayor al 3,3% correspondiente al mes de marzo del
corriente, e inferior al 5% observado en abril del año 2016.
En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES la inflación durante el mes de
abril del corriente fue del 0,2%, mayor al -0,6% observado en el mismo mes del año
anterior. Por su parte, la inflación acumulada se ubicó en 1%, por debajo del 1,7%
verificado en abril del año pasado. Así, la inflación interanual para los bienes
nacionales cerró con una tasa del 7,5%, superior al 6,7% de marzo del corriente, y
tambien por encima de la tasa del 3% verificada en abril del año 2016.
Abstract
Inflation for April 2017, as measured by the change in the Producer Price Index (PPI), was 0.1%, higher than the -0.9% rate recorded in April of last year. Thus, cumulative inflation reached -0.3%, above the -0.4% observed in April of 2016. With these data, year-on-year inflation for 2017 reached 4.3%, higher than the 3.3% corresponding to March of this year and lower than the 5% observed in April of 2016. Regarding DOMESTIC PRODUCTS, inflation during April of this year was 0.2%, higher than the -0.6% observed in the same month of the previous year. Cumulative inflation, meanwhile, stood at 1%, below the 1.7% observed in April of last year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for domestic goods closed at 7.5%, higher than the 6.7% recorded in March of this year, and also above the 3% rate recorded in April 2016.
