Summary
La inflación del mes de agosto del año 2015, medida por la variación del Índice de
Precios del Productor (IPP), fue del 0,8%, superior a la tasa del 0% registrada en
agosto del año pasado. Así, la inflación acumulada asciende al 1,9%, por encima del
-1,8% observado en agosto del 2014. Con estos datos, la inflación interanual del año
2015 asciende al 3,8%, superior al 2,9% correspondiente al mes de julio del
corriente, y por encima del 0,8% observado en agosto del año 2014.
En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES la inflación durante el mes de agosto
del corriente fue del 0,2%, superior al -0,3% observado en el mismo mes del año
anterior. Por su parte, la inflación acumulada se ubicó en -1,5%, por encima del
-2,1% verificado en agosto del año pasado. Así, la inflación interanual para los bienes
nacionales cerró con una tasa del -0,9%, superior al -1,3% de julio del 2015, y muy
por debajo a la tasa del 2,4% verificada en agosto del año 2014.
Abstract
Inflation for August 2015, measured by the change in the Producer Price Index (PPI), was 0.8%, higher than the 0% rate recorded in August of last year. Thus, cumulative inflation reached 1.9%, above the -1.8% observed in August of 2014. With these data, year-on-year inflation for 2015 reached 3.8%, higher than the 2.9% corresponding to July of this year, and above the 0.8% observed in August of 2014. Regarding DOMESTIC PRODUCTS, inflation during August of this year was 0.2%, higher than the -0.3% observed in the same month of the previous year. Cumulative inflation, meanwhile, stood at -1.5%, above the -2.1% observed in August of last year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for domestic goods closed at a rate of -0.9%, higher than the -1.3% recorded in July 2015, and well below the 2.4% rate recorded in August 2014.
