Summary
La inflación del mes de diciembre del año 2019, medida por la variación del Índice
de Precios del Productor (IPP), fue de -0,2%, levemente inferior a la tasa del -0,3%
registrada en el mismo mes del año 2018. Con estos datos, la inflación acumulada
del año 2019 se ubicó en 1,1%, inferior al 1,3% observado en el mes de noviembre
de 2019, y también menor a la tasa del 2,3% verificada al cierre del año 2018.
En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES la inflación durante el mes de
diciembre del año 2019 fue del 0,1%; superior a la variación del -0,2% observada en
el mismo mes del año 2018. De esta manera, la inflación acumulada del año para
los productos nacionales se ubicó en -0,9%, resultado superior al -1,0% interanual
registrado en el mes de noviembre del 2019, pero por debajo del 0,8% verificado en
el año 2018.
Abstract
Inflation for December 2019, as measured by the change in the Producer Price Index (PPI), was -0.2%, slightly lower than the -0.3% rate recorded in the same month in 2018. With this data, cumulative inflation for 2019 stood at 1.1%, lower than the 1.3% observed in November 2019, and also lower than the 2.3% rate recorded at the end of 2018. Regarding DOMESTIC PRODUCTS, inflation during December 2019 was 0.1%; This is higher than the -0.2% variation observed in the same month in 2018. Thus, year-on-year inflation for domestic products stood at -0.9%, higher than the -1.0% year-on-year increase recorded in November 2019, but lower than the 0.8% observed in 2018.
