Summary
La inflación del mes de enero del año 2016, medida por la variación del Índice de
Precios del Productor (IPP), fue del 0,6%, tasa superior al -0,3% registrada en el
mismo período del año pasado. Con estos datos, la inflación interanual del mes de
enero del año 2016 asciende al 5,9%, superior al 5% observada en el mes anterior, y
por encima del -0,6% registrado en enero del año 2015.
En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES, la inflación fue del 0,8%,
superior al -0,8% correspondiente al mismo mes del año 2015. Así, la inflación
interanual del mes de enero del año 2016 para los bienes nacionales cerró con un
1,2%, mayor a la tasa del -0,4% observada en diciembre del año anterior, y también
superior al -2% verificada en enero del año 2015.
Abstract
Inflation for January 2016, measured by the change in the Producer Price Index (PPI), was 0.6%, higher than the -0.3% recorded in the same period last year. With these data, year-on-year inflation for January 2016 reached 5.9%, higher than the 5% observed in the previous month and above the -0.6% recorded in January 2015. For domestic products, inflation was 0.8%, higher than the -0.8% recorded in the same month in 2015. Thus, year-on-year inflation for domestic goods in January 2016 closed at 1.2%, higher than the -0.4% rate observed in December of the previous year and also higher than the -2% recorded in January 2015.
