Summary
La inflación del mes de enero del año 2017, medida por la variación del Índice de
Precios del Productor (IPP), fue del 0,1%, tasa inferior al 0,6% registrada en enero
del año pasado. Con estos datos, la inflación interanual del mes de enero 2017
asciende al 3,6%, inferior al 4,1% observada en diciembre del año 2016, y también
por debajo del 5,9% verificada en enero del año anterior.
En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES, la inflación fue del 0,2%, inferior
al 0,8% correspondiente al mismo mes del año anterior. Así, la inflación interanual
para los bienes nacionales cerró con un 7,6%, menor a la tasa del 8,3% verificada en
diciembre de 2016, y por encima del 1,2% observada en enero del año pasado.
Abstract
Inflation for January 2017, as measured by the change in the Producer Price Index (PPI), was 0.1%, lower than the 0.6% recorded in January of last year. With this data, year-on-year inflation for January 2017 reached 3.6%, lower than the 4.1% recorded in December 2016 and also lower than the 5.9% recorded in January of the previous year. For domestic products, inflation was 0.2%, lower than the 0.8% recorded in the same month of the previous year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for domestic goods closed at 7.6%, lower than the 8.3% rate recorded in December 2016 and higher than the 1.2% recorded in January of last year.
