Summary
La inflación del mes de septiembre del año 2020, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios del Productor (IPP), fue de 1,1%, superior a la tasa del 0,8% registrada en el mismo mes del año 2019. De la misma manera, la inflación acumulada a septiembre de 2020 fue de 3,5%, por encima del 0% observado el año pasado. Así, la inflación interanual del mes se ubicó en 4,5%, superior a la tasa del 4,3% observada en el mes anterior, y también mayor a la tasa del 0,8% verificada en el mes de septiembre del año 2019.
En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES, la inflación durante el mes de septiembre del 2020 fue del 1,6%, superior a la variación del 0,8% observada en el mismo mes del año 2019. Por su parte, la inflación acumulada a septiembre del 2020 fue del 2,8%, por encima de la tasa del -2,1% registrada en el año anterior. De esta manera, la inflación interanual del mes de septiembre se ubicó en una tasa del 4,1%, resultado superior al 3,2% registrado en el mes de agosto del corriente, y también por encima del -1,1% verificado en septiembre de 2019.
Abstract
Inflation for September 2020, as measured by the Producer Price Index (PPI), was 1.1%, higher than the 0.8% rate recorded for the same month in 2019. Similarly, cumulative inflation through September 2020 was 3.5%, above the 0% rate observed last year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for the month stood at 4.5%, higher than the 4.3% rate observed in the previous month and also higher than the 0.8% rate observed in September 2019.
At the DOMESTIC PRODUCTS level, inflation during September 2020 was 1.6%, higher than the 0.8% variation observed in the same month in 2019. Meanwhile, cumulative inflation through September 2020 was 2.8%, above the -2.1% rate recorded in the previous year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for September stood at 4.1%, higher than the 3.2% recorded in August of this year and also higher than the -1.1% recorded in September 2019.
