Summary
La inflación del mes de febrero del año 2015, medida por la variación del Índice de
Precios del Productor (IPP), fue del -0,2%, inferior a la tasa del 0,2% registrada en
febrero del año pasado. Así, la inflación acumulada asciende al -0,5%, muy por
debajo del 0,6% observado en febrero del 2014. Con estos datos, la inflación
interanual del año 2015 asciende al -1%, menor al -0,6% correspondiente al mes de
enero del corriente, y también muy por debajo del 6% observado en febrero del año
2014.
En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES la inflación durante el mes de
febrero del corriente fue del 0,2%, menor al 0,8% observado en el mismo mes del
año anterior. Por su parte, la inflación acumulada se ubicó en -0,6%, por debajo del
0,6% verificado en febrero del año pasado. Así, la inflación interanual para los bienes
nacionales cerró con una tasa del -2,7%, inferior al -2% de enero del 2015, y
también por debajo a la tasa del 6,3% verificada en febrero del año 2014.
Abstract
Inflation for February 2015, as measured by the change in the Producer Price Index (PPI), was -0.2%, lower than the 0.2% rate recorded in February of last year. Thus, cumulative inflation stands at -0.5%, well below the 0.6% observed in February 2014. With these data, year-on-year inflation for 2015 is -1%, lower than the -0.6% observed in January of this year, and also well below the 6% observed in February of 2014. Regarding DOMESTIC PRODUCTS, inflation during February of this year was 0.2%, lower than the 0.8% observed in the same month of the previous year. Meanwhile, cumulative inflation stood at -0.6%, below the 0.6% recorded in February of last year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for domestic goods closed at a rate of -2.7%, lower than the -2% recorded in January 2015, and also below the 6.3% rate recorded in February 2014.
