Summary
La inflación del mes de octubre del año 2016, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios del Productor (IPP), fue del 1,3%, superior a la tasa del 0,8% registrada en octubre del año pasado. Así, la inflación acumulada asciende al 3%, por debajo del 3,6% observado en octubre del 2015. Con estos datos, la inflación interanual del año 2016 asciende al 4,4%, mayor al 3,9% correspondiente al mes de setiembre del corriente, y también superior al 3,7% observado en octubre del año 2015.
En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES la inflación durante el mes de octubre del corriente fue del 1,6%, mayor al 0,6% observado en el mismo mes del año anterior. Por su parte, la inflación acumulada se ubicó en 7,2%, por encima del -0,9% verificado en octubre del año pasado. Así, la inflación interanual para los bienes nacionales cerró con una tasa del 7,8%, superior al 6,7% de setiembre del corriente, y también muy por encima de la tasa del -1,1% verificada en octubre del año 2015.
Abstract
Inflation for October 2016, measured by the change in the Producer Price Index (PPI), was 1.3%, higher than the 0.8% rate recorded in October of last year. Thus, cumulative inflation reached 3%, below the 3.6% observed in October 2015. With these data, year-on-year inflation for 2016 reached 4.4%, higher than the 3.9% observed in September of this year and also higher than the 3.7% observed in October of 2015.
For domestic products, inflation during the month of October of this year was 1.6%, higher than the 0.6% observed in the same month of the previous year. Cumulative inflation, meanwhile, stood at 7.2%, above the -0.9% observed in October of last year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for domestic goods closed at 7.8%, higher than the 6.7% recorded in September of this year and also well above the -1.1% recorded in October 2015.
