Summary
La inflación del mes de setiembre del año 2005, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del 1,4%, superior a la tasa del -1,3% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con el resultado mensual alcanzado, la inflación acumulada durante el año asciende al 6,9%, superior al 2,2% registrado en igual período del año anterior. Por su parte, la inflación interanual se ubica en una tasa del 7,6%, mayor al 4,7% registrado en el mes de agosto de este año, y también superior al 6,7% observado en el mes de setiembre del año 2004.
Abstract
Inflation for September 2005, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 1.4%, higher than the -1.3% rate observed in the same month last year. With this monthly result, cumulative inflation for the year reached 6.9%, higher than the 2.2% recorded in the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation stood at 7.6%, higher than the 4.7% recorded in August of this year and also higher than the 6.7% observed in September 2004.
