Summary
La inflación del mes de noviembre del 2013, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), alcanzó una tasa del 0,7%, mayor a la tasa del 0,6% observada en el mismo mes del año 2012. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año asciende al 3,7%, por encima de la tasa del 3,2% registrada durante el mismo periodo en el año anterior. La inflación interanual, por su parte, fue del 4,4%, resultado similar a la tasa verificada en el mes de octubre del corriente año, y por encima de la tasa del 4,1% registrada en el mes de noviembre del año pasado.
Por otro lado, se señala que la inflación núcleo1 se sitúo en un nivel inferior al de la inflación total mensual (en 0,4%). Así, la inflación interanual medida por este indicador, alcanzó una tasa del 2,8%, igual a la tasa correspondiente al mes de octubre del corriente año, y por debajo de la tasa del 4,7% verificada en el mes de noviembre del año 2012.
Abstract
Inflation for November 2013, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), reached a rate of 0.7%, higher than the 0.6% rate observed in the same month in 2012. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year reached 3.7%, above the 3.2% rate recorded during the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation, meanwhile, was 4.4%, similar to the rate recorded in October of this year and above the 4.1% rate recorded in November of last year.
Furthermore, it is noted that core inflation1 was lower than total monthly inflation (at 0.4%). Thus, year-on-year inflation, as measured by this indicator, reached a rate of 2.8%, equal to the rate corresponding to October of this year and below the 4.7% rate recorded in November 2012.
