La inflación del mes de marzo del año 2010, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del 0,9%, superior a la tasa del -0,2% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año asciende al 1,8%, por encima del -0,4% verificado en el mismo periodo del año anterior. La inflación interanual, por su parte, fue del 4,1%, resultado mayor al 3% observado en el mes de febrero del corriente año, y también superior a la tasa del 3,4% registrado en el mes de marzo del año pasado.
Abstract
Inflation for March 2010, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 0.9%, higher than the -0.2% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year reached 1.8%, above the -0.4% observed in the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation was 4.1%, higher than the 3% observed in February of this year and also higher than the 3.4% rate recorded in March of last year.
