Summary
La inflación del mes de junio del año 2012, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del -0,4%, superior a la tasa del -0,6% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año asciende al 2,8%, por debajo del 3,8% verificado en el mismo periodo en el año anterior. La inflación interanual, por su parte, fue del 3,9%, resultado levemente mayor al 3,8% observado en el mes de mayo del corriente año, y por debajo de la tasa del 8,8% registrado en el mes de junio del año pasado.
Abstract
Inflation for June 2012, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was -0.4%, higher than the -0.6% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year reached 2.8%, below the 3.8% recorded in the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation, meanwhile, was 3.9%, slightly higher than the 3.8% observed in May of this year and below the 8.8% rate recorded in June of last year.
