La inflación del mes de julio del año 2007, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del 0,4%, mayor a la tasa del -0,2% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año asciende al -1,1%, por debajo del 3,5% verificado en igual período durante el año anterior. Por su parte, la inflación interanual se ubica en 7,5%, por encima del 6,8% registrado en el mes de junio del año 2007, pero inferior al 7,7% observado en julio del año 2006.
Abstract
Inflation for July 2007, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 0.4%, higher than the -0.2% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year reached -1.1%, below the 3.5% recorded in the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation stood at 7.5%, above the 6.8% recorded in June 2007, but lower than the 7.7% recorded in July 2006.
