La inflación del mes de febrero del año 2006, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC) fue 1,1%, mayor a la tasa del 0,6% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año se sitúa en 2,5%, por encima del 1,3% registrado en igual período del año 2005. La inflación interanual, por su parte, asciende al 11,2%, superior a la tasa del 10,6% observada en enero del corriente año, y también por encima del 3,6% registrado en febrero del año anterior.
Abstract
Inflation in February 2006, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 1.1%, higher than the 0.6% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year stands at 2.5%, above the 1.3% recorded in the same period in 2005. Year-on-year inflation, meanwhile, rose to 11.2%, higher than the 10.6% rate observed in January of this year and also higher than the 3.6% recorded in February of last year.
