La inflación del mes de enero del año 2006, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC) fue 1,4%, mayor a la tasa del 0,7% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. La inflación interanual con este resultado, asciende a un 10,6%, superior a la tasa del 9,9% observada en diciembre de 2005 y también por encima del 3,2% registrado en enero del año anterior
Abstract
Inflation for January 2006, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 1.4%, higher than the 0.7% rate observed in the same month the previous year. With this result, year-on-year inflation rose to 10.6%, higher than the 9.9% rate observed in December 2005 and also above the 3.2% recorded in January of the previous year.
