La inflación en el mes de enero de 2004, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del 0,3%, tasa muy inferior al 4%, observado en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación interanual se ubicó en 5,5%, por debajo del 9,3% registrado en el mes de diciembre del 2003, y del 18,2% del mismo mes del año anterior.
Abstract
Inflation in January 2004, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 0.3%, much lower than the 4% recorded in the same month the previous year. With this result, year-on-year inflation stood at 5.5%, lower than the 9.3% recorded in December 2003 and the 18.2% recorded in the same month the previous year.
