La inflación del mes de setiembre del año 2018, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios del Productor (IPP), fue del 0,2%, tasa inferior al 0,7% registrada en el mismo mes del año pasado. Así, la inflación acumulada asciende al 1,5%, por encima del 1,3% observada en setiembre del 2017. Con este resultado, la inflación interanual en el mes de setiembre de 2018 se ubica en 2,3%, inferior a la tasa del 2,7% verificada en el mes de agosto del corriente, y también menor a la tasa del 3,7% observada en setiembre del año 2017.
En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES la inflación durante el mes de setiembre del corriente fue del 0%, inferior al 0,9% observado en el mismo mes del año anterior. Por su parte, la inflación acumulada se ubicó en -0,2%, menor al 3,2% verificado en setiembre del año pasado. Así, la inflación interanual para los bienes nacionales cerró con una tasa del 1,2%, inferior al 2% de agosto del corriente, y también por debajo del 6% verificado en setiembre del año 2017.
Abstract
Inflation for September 2018, measured by the change in the Producer Price Index (PPI), was 0.2%, lower than the 0.7% recorded in the same month last year. Thus, cumulative inflation reached 1.5%, above the 1.3% observed in September 2017. With this result, year-on-year inflation for September 2018 stood at 2.3%, lower than the 2.7% rate observed in August of this year, and also lower than the 3.7% rate observed in September 2017.
For domestic products, inflation during September of this year was 0%, lower than the 0.9% observed in the same month last year. Meanwhile, cumulative inflation stood at -0.2%, lower than the 3.2% recorded in September of last year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for domestic goods closed at 1.2%, lower than the 2% recorded in August of this year and also below the 6% recorded in September 2017.
