Summary
La inflación del mes de octubre del año 2018, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios del Productor (IPP), fue del 0,9%, tasa superior al 0,2% registrada en el mismo mes del año pasado. Así, la inflación acumulada asciende al 2,4%, por encima del 1,4% observada en octubre del 2017. Con este resultado, la inflación interanual en el mes de octubre de 2018 se ubica en 3%, mayor a la tasa del 2,3% verificada en el mes de setiembre del corriente, y también superior a la tasa del 2,6% observada en octubre del año 2017.
En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES la inflación durante el mes de octubre del corriente fue del 0,6%, superior al 0,3% observado en el mismo mes del año anterior. Por su parte, la inflación acumulada se ubicó en 0,3%, menor al 3,6% verificado en octubre del año pasado. Así, la inflación interanual para los bienes nacionales cerró con una tasa del 1,4%, superior al 1,2% de setiembre del corriente, pero por debajo del 4,7% verificado en octubre del año 2017.
Abstract
Inflation for October 2018, measured by the change in the Producer Price Index (PPI), was 0.9%, higher than the 0.2% recorded in the same month last year. Thus, cumulative inflation reached 2.4%, above the 1.4% observed in October 2017. With this result, year-on-year inflation for October 2018 stood at 3%, higher than the 2.3% rate observed in September of this year and also higher than the 2.6% rate observed in October 2017.
For domestic products, inflation for October this year was 0.6%, higher than the 0.3% observed in the same month last year. Meanwhile, cumulative inflation stood at 0.3%, lower than the 3.6% recorded in October of last year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for domestic goods closed at 1.4%, higher than the 1.2% recorded in September of this year, but below the 4.7% recorded in October 2017.
