La inflación del mes de octubre del año 2017, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios del Productor (IPP), fue del 0,2%, inferior a la tasa del 1,3% registrada en el mismo mes del año pasado. Así, la inflación acumulada asciende al 1,4%, por debajo del 3% observado en octubre del 2016. Con estos datos, la inflación interanual en el mes de octubre de 2017 asciende al 2,6%, menor al 3,7% correspondiente al mes de setiembre del corriente, y también inferior al 4,4% observado en octubre del año 2016.
En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES la inflación durante el mes de octubre del corriente fue del 0,3%, menor al 1,6% observado en el mismo mes del año anterior. Por su parte, la inflación acumulada se ubicó en 3,6%, por debajo del 7,2% verificado en octubre del año pasado. Así, la inflación interanual para los bienes nacionales cerró con una tasa del 4,7%, inferior al 6% de setiembre del corriente, y también por debajo del 7,8% verificada en octubre del año 2016.
Abstract
Inflation for October 2017, measured by the change in the Producer Price Index (PPI), was 0.2%, lower than the 1.3% rate recorded in the same month last year. Thus, cumulative inflation reached 1.4%, below the 3% observed in October 2016. With these data, year-on-year inflation for October 2017 reached 2.6%, lower than the 3.7% corresponding to September of this year, and also lower than the 4.4% observed in October 2016.
For DOMESTIC PRODUCTS, inflation during the month of October was 0.3%, lower than the 1.6% observed in the same month last year. Cumulative inflation, meanwhile, stood at 3.6%, below the 7.2% observed in October of last year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for domestic goods closed at 4.7%, lower than the 6% recorded in September of this year and also below the 7.8% recorded in October 2016.
