Summary
La inflación del mes de noviembre del año 2018, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios del Productor (IPP), fue del 0,2%, tasa inferior al 0,4% registrada en el mismo mes del año pasado. Así, la inflación acumulada asciende al 2,7%, por encima del 1,9% observada en noviembre del 2017. Con este resultado, la inflación interanual en el mes de noviembre de 2018 se ubica en 2,8%, menor a la tasa del 3% verificada en el mes de octubre del corriente, pero superior a la tasa del 1,9% observada en noviembre del año 2017. En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES la inflación durante el mes de noviembre del corriente fue del 0,7%, similar a la variación observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Por su parte, la inflación acumulada se ubicó en 1%, menor al 4,3% verificado en noviembre del año pasado. Así, la inflación interanual para los bienes nacionales cerró con una tasa del 1,4%, similar a la tasa registrada en octubre del corriente, pero por debajo del 4,2% verificado en noviembre del año 2017.
Abstract
Inflation for November 2018, as measured by the Producer Price Index (PPI), was 0.2%, lower than the 0.4% recorded in the same month last year. Thus, cumulative inflation reached 2.7%, above the 1.9% observed in November 2017. With this result, year-on-year inflation for November 2018 stood at 2.8%, lower than the 3% rate observed in October of this year, but higher than the 1.9% rate observed in November 2017. In the DOMESTIC PRODUCTS category, inflation for November of this year was 0.7%, similar to the variation observed in the same month last year. Cumulative inflation, meanwhile, stood at 1%, lower than the 4.3% observed in November of last year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for domestic goods closed at 1.4%, similar to the rate recorded in October of this year, but lower than the 4.2% recorded in November 2017.
