Summary
La inflación del mes de julio del año 2020, medida por la variación del
Índice de Precios del Productor (IPP), fue de 1,4%, superior a la tasa del
-0,7% registrada en el mismo mes del año 2019. De la misma manera, la
inflación acumulada a julio de 2020 fue de 1,4%, superior al -0,8% observado
el año pasado. Así, la inflación interanual del mes se ubicó en 3,4%, por
encima de la tasa del 1,2% observada en el mes anterior, y también mayor a
la tasa del 0,8% verificada en el mes de julio del año 2019.
En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES, la inflación durante el mes
de julio del 2020 fue del 1,3%, superior a la variación del -0,1% observada en
el mismo mes del año 2019. Por su parte, la inflación acumulada a julio del
2020 fue del 0,1%, por encima de la tasa del -2,4% registrada en el año
anterior. De esta manera, la inflación interanual del mes de julio se ubicó en
una tasa del 1,6%, resultado superior al 0,3% registrado en el mes de junio
del corriente, y también por encima del -0,8% verificado en julio de 2019.

Thus, year-on-year inflation for the month was 3.4%, above the 1.2% rate observed in the previous month and also higher than the 0.8% rate observed in July 2019. Regarding DOMESTIC PRODUCTS, inflation during July 2020 was 1.3%, higher than the -0.1% variation observed in the same month in 2019. Meanwhile, cumulative inflation through July 2020 was 0.1%, above the -2.4% rate recorded in the previous year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for July was 1.6%, higher than the 0.3% recorded in June of this year and also higher than the -0.8% recorded in July 2019.
