La inflación del mes de setiembre del año 2007, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del 0,9%, menor a la tasa del 1,6% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año asciende al 3,2%, por debajo del 5,4% verificado en igual período durante el año anterior. Por su parte, la inflación interanual se ubica en 10,1%, inferior al 10,9% registrado en el mes de agosto del año 2007, pero superior al 8,3% observado en setiembre del año 2006.
Abstract
Inflation for September 2007, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 0.9%, lower than the 1.6% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year reached 3.2%, below the 5.4% recorded in the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation stood at 10.1%, lower than the 10.9% recorded in August 2007, but higher than the 8.3% recorded in September 2006.
