Summary
La inflación del mes de setiembre del año 2011, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del 0,2%, superior a la tasa del -0,4% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año asciende al 5%, por encima del 2,9% verificado en el mismo periodo durante el año anterior. La inflación interanual, por su parte, alcanzó un 9,4%, resultado superior al 8,8% observado en el mes de agosto del corriente año, y también mayor a la tasa del 3,8% registrado en el mes de setiembre del año pasado.
Abstract
Inflation for September 2011, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 0.2%, higher than the -0.4% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year reached 5%, above the 2.9% recorded in the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation, meanwhile, reached 9.4%, higher than the 8.8% observed in August of this year and also higher than the 3.8% rate recorded in September of last year.
