Summary
La inflación del mes de octubre del año 2010, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del 2,2%, muy superior a la tasa del 0,8% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año asciende al 5,2%, por encima del 1,9% registrado en el mismo periodo del año anterior. La inflación interanual, por su parte, fue del 5,2%, resultado mayor al 3,8% observado en el mes de setiembre del corriente año, y por encima del 2,8% registrado en el mes de octubre del año pasado.
Abstract
Inflation in October 2010, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 2.2%, much higher than the 0.8% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year reached 5.2%, above the 1.9% recorded in the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation, meanwhile, was 5.2%, higher than the 3.8% observed in September of this year and above the 2.8% recorded in October of last year.
