dc.descriptionLa inflación del mes de mayo del año 2007, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del 0,5%, mayor a la tasa del -0,3% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año asciende al -0,8%, por debajo del 4,2% verificado en igual período durante el año anterior. Por su parte, la inflación interanual se ubica en 7,1%, por encima del 6,2% registrado en el mes de abril del año 2007, pero menor al 8,7% observado en mayo del año 2006.
dc.description.abstractInflation in May 2007, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 0.5%, higher than the -0.3% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year reached -0.8%, below the 4.2% recorded in the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation stood at 7.1%, above the 6.2% recorded in April 2007, but lower than the 8.7% recorded in May 2006.
