dc.descriptionLa inflación del mes de junio del año 2005, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del -0,1%, menor a la tasa del 0,9% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. La inflación en el mes de junio de 2005 en términos interanuales, presentó un cambio en su tendencia tras haber aumentado sostenidamente durante los primeros cinco meses del año. Este resultado deflacionario mensual es atribuido fundamentalmente a la reducción generalizada de los precios de productos alimenticios componentes de la canasta, y en forma específica, al impacto de la menor cotización experimentada por los bienes frutihortícolas.
dc.description.abstractInflation for June 2005, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was -0.1%, lower than the 0.9% rate observed in the same month last year. Year-on-year inflation in June 2005 showed a change in its trend after having increased steadily during the first five months of the year. This monthly deflationary result is primarily attributed to the widespread reduction in the prices of food products included in the basket, and specifically to the impact of the lower price of fruit and vegetable products.
