Summary
La inflación del mes de febrero del año 2013, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del -0,8%, menor a la tasa del 1,5% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año asciende al 0,4%, por debajo del 2,6% verificado en el mismo periodo en el año anterior. La inflación interanual, por su parte, fue del 1,7%, resultado menor al 4,1% observado en el mes de enero del corriente año, y muy por debajo a la tasa del 4,5% registrada en el mes de febrero del año pasado.
Abstract
Inflation for February 2013, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was -0.8%, lower than the 1.5% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year reached 0.4%, below the 2.6% rate observed in the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation, meanwhile, was 1.7%, lower than the 4.1% rate observed in January of this year and well below the 4.5% rate recorded in February of last year.
