Summary
La inflación del mes de febrero del año 2010, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del -0,1%, superior a la tasa del -0,3% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año asciende al 0,9%, por encima del -0,2% verificado en el mismo periodo del año anterior. La inflación interanual, por su parte, fue del 3%, resultado mayor al 2,8% observado en el mes de enero del corriente año, pero inferior a la tasa del 4,3% registrado en el mes de febrero del año pasado.
Abstract
Inflation for February 2010, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was -0.1%, higher than the -0.3% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year reached 0.9%, above the -0.2% observed in the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation was 3%, higher than the 2.8% observed in January of this year, but lower than the 4.3% rate recorded in February of last year.
