dc.descriptionLa inflación del mes de diciembre del año 2018, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del -0,3%, tasa inferior al 0,5% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación del año 2018 asciende al 3,2%, por debajo del 4,5% verificado en el año anterior. Por otro lado, se señala que la inflación núcleo1 se situó en un nivel inferior al de la inflación total mensual (en 0%). Así, la inflación del año medida por este indicador, alcanzó una tasa del 2,9%, levemente por encima de la tasa del 2,8% registrada en el año 2017.
dc.description.abstractInflation for December 2018, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was -0.3%, lower than the 0.5% observed in the same month the previous year. With this result, inflation for 2018 rose to 3.2%, below the 4.5% recorded the previous year. Furthermore, core inflation1 was lower than monthly headline inflation (0%). Thus, inflation for the year, as measured by this indicator, reached a rate of 2.9%, slightly above the 2.8% rate recorded in 2017.
