dc.descriptionLa inflación del mes de diciembre del año 2014, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del 0,7%, superior a la tasa del 0,1% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación del año 2014 se ubicó en un 4,2%, mayor al 3,7% registrado en el año 2013. Por otro lado, se señala que la inflación núcleo1 se sitúo en un nivel inferior al de la inflación total mensual (en 0,1%). Así, la inflación del año medida por este indicador, alcanzó una tasa del 3,2%, mayor a la tasa de 2,6% verificada en el año 2013.
dc.description.abstractInflation for December 2014, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 0.7%, higher than the 0.1% rate observed in the same month the previous year. With this result, inflation for 2014 stood at 4.2%, higher than the 3.7% recorded in 2013. On the other hand, core inflation1 was lower than monthly headline inflation (at 0.1%). Thus, inflation for the year, as measured by this indicator, reached a rate of 3.2%, higher than the 2.6% rate recorded in 2013.
