dc.descriptionLa inflación del mes de diciembre del año 2013, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del 0,1%, inferior a la tasa del 0,7% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación del año 2013 se ubicó en un 3,7%, menor al 4% registrado en el año 2012. Por otro lado, se señala que la inflación núcleo1 se sitúo en un nivel similar al de la inflación total mensual (en 0,1%). Así, la inflación del año medida por este indicador, alcanzó una tasa del 2,6%, menor al 4,6% verificada en el año 2012.
dc.description.abstractInflation for December 2013, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 0.1%, lower than the 0.7% rate observed in the same month the previous year. With this result, inflation for 2013 stood at 3.7%, lower than the 4% recorded in 2012. Furthermore, core inflation1 was similar to the monthly total inflation rate (0.1%). Thus, inflation for the year, as measured by this indicator, reached a rate of 2.6%, lower than the 4.6% recorded in 2012.
