dc.descriptionLa inflación del mes de agosto del año 2012, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del -0,2%, inferior a la tasa del 1% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año asciende al 2,7%, por debajo del 4,9% verificado en el mismo periodo en el año anterior. La inflación interanual, por su parte, fue del 2,8%, resultado menor al 4% observado en el mes de julio del corriente año, y también por debajo de la tasa del 8,8% registrado en el mes de agosto del año pasado.
dc.description.abstractInflation for August 2012, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was -0.2%, lower than the 1% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year reached 2.7%, below the 4.9% recorded in the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation, meanwhile, was 2.8%, lower than the 4% rate observed in July of this year and also below the 8.8% rate recorded in August of last year.
