dc.descriptionAl mes de agosto del año 2020 se realizaron transacciones en el comercio exterior del país por USD 13.856,8 millones, representando una reducción de 16,1% con respecto al valor acumulado a agosto del 2019. Las exportaciones totales, al octavo mes del año, alcanzaron USD 7.413,4 millones, 14% inferior a los registros acumulados a agosto del año anterior, un total de 134 países se han constituido en los destinos de nuestras exportaciones. Las importaciones totales acumuladas en el año alcanzaron, para el mismo periodo, USD 6.443,3 millones, representando una reducción de 18,4%, con 149 países que constituyen el origen de las mismas. Como resultado, la balanza comercial cerró con un superávit de USD 970,1 millones en este periodo.
dc.description.abstractAs of August 2020, the country's foreign trade transactions totaled USD 13,856.8 million, representing a 16.1% decrease compared to the accumulated value as of August 2019. Total exports, as of the eighth month of the year, reached USD 7,413.4 million, 14% lower than the accumulated figures for August of the previous year. A total of 134 countries have become destinations for our exports. Total imports for the year for the same period reached USD 6,443.3 million, representing an 18.4% decrease, with 149 countries representing the origin. As a result, the trade balance closed with a surplus of USD 970.1 million for this period.
