dc.descriptionLa inflación del mes de enero del año 2019, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios del Productor (IPP), fue de 0%, inferior a la tasa del 0,3% registrada en el mismo mes del año 2018. También, la inflación interanual del mes se ubica en 2%, menor a la tasa del 2,3% observada tanto en el mes de diciembre como en el mes de enero del año 2018. En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES la inflación durante el mes de enero del año 2019 fue del -0,6%, menor al 0% observado en el mismo mes del año 2018. Además, la inflación interanual del mes para los bienes nacionales cerró con una tasa del 0,2%, inferior al 0,8% de diciembre del año pasado, y también por debajo del 4,5% verificado en enero de 2018.
dc.description.abstractInflation for January 2019, as measured by the change in the Producer Price Index (PPI), was 0%, lower than the 0.3% rate recorded in the same month in 2018. Year-on-year inflation for the month also stood at 2%, lower than the 2.3% rate observed in both December and January 2018. For domestic products, inflation for January 2019 was -0.6%, lower than the 0% observed in the same month in 2018. Furthermore, year-on-year inflation for domestic goods closed at 0.2%, lower than the 0.8% recorded in December of last year and also below the 4.5% recorded in January 2018.
