dc.descriptionLa inflación del mes de octubre del año 2019, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios del Productor (IPP), fue de 1,1%, superior a la tasa del 0,9% registrada en el mismo mes del año 2018. De la misma manera, la inflación acumulada a octubre de 2019 fue de 1,1%, inferior al 2,4% observado el año pasado. Así, la inflación interanual del mes se ubicó en 1%, por encima de la tasa del 0,8% observada en el mes anterior, pero menor a la tasa del 3% verificada en el mes de octubre del año 2018. En el nivel de los PRODUCTOS NACIONALES la inflación durante el mes de octubre del año 2019 fue del 0,8%, superior a la variación del 0,6% observada en el mismo mes del año 2018. Por su parte, la inflación acumulada a octubre del 2019 fue del -1,3%, por debajo de la tasa del 0,3% registrada en el año anterior. De esta manera, la inflación interanual del mes de octubre se ubicó en una tasa del -0,8%, resultado superior al -1,1% registrado en el mes de septiembre del corriente, pero por debajo del 1,4% verificado en octubre de 2018.
dc.description.abstractInflation for October 2019, as measured by the Producer Price Index (PPI), was 1.1%, higher than the 0.9% rate recorded for the same month in 2018. Similarly, cumulative inflation through October 2019 was 1.1%, lower than the 2.4% recorded last year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for the month was 1%, above the 0.8% rate observed in the previous month, but lower than the 3% rate observed in October 2018. For domestic products, inflation during October 2019 was 0.8%, higher than the 0.6% increase observed in the same month in 2018. Cumulative inflation through October 2019 was -1.3%, below the 0.3% rate recorded in the previous year. Thus, year-on-year inflation for October was -0.8%, higher than the -1.1% recorded in September of this year, but lower than the 1.4% recorded in October 2018.
