La inflación del mes de setiembre del año 2006, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue 1,6%, mayor a la tasa del 1,4% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año se sitúa en 5,4%, por debajo del 6,9% registrado en igual período del año 2005. La inflación interanual, por su parte, asciende al 8,3%.
Abstract
Inflation for September 2006, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 1.6%, higher than the 1.4% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year stands at 5.4%, below the 6.9% recorded in the same period in 2005. Year-on-year inflation, meanwhile, stood at 8.3%.
