dc.descriptionLa inflación del mes de octubre del año 2006, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue 2%, mayor a la tasa del 1,6% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año se sitúa en 7,5%, por debajo del 8,6% registrado en igual período del año 2005. La inflación interanual, por su parte, asciende al 8,7%, mayor al 8,3% observado en el mes de setiembre del corriente año, pero menor al 10,3% registrado en el mes de octubre del año 2005.
dc.description.abstractInflation in October 2006, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 2%, higher than the 1.6% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year stands at 7.5%, below the 8.6% recorded in the same period in 2005. Year-on-year inflation, meanwhile, rose to 8.7%, higher than the 8.3% observed in September of this year, but lower than the 10.3% recorded in October 2005.
