Summary
La inflación del mes de noviembre del año 2016, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del 1%, superior a la tasa del 0,4% observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada del año asciende al 3,3%, superior al 2,2% verificado en el mismo periodo del año anterior. La inflación interanual, por su parte, fue del 4,2%, resultado mayor al 3,6% observado en el mes de octubre del corriente año, y también superior a la tasa del 2,9% registrada en el mes de noviembre del año pasado.
Por otro lado, se señala que la inflación núcleo1 se situó en un nivel inferior al de la inflación total mensual (en 0,3%). Así, la inflación interanual medida por este indicador alcanzó una tasa del 3,3%, similar a la tasa correspondiente al mes de octubre del corriente año, e inferior a la tasa del 3,4%, verificada en el mes de noviembre del año 2015.
Abstract
Inflation for November 2016, measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 1%, higher than the 0.4% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year reached 3.3%, higher than the 2.2% observed in the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation, meanwhile, was 4.2%, higher than the 3.6% observed in October of this year and also higher than the 2.9% rate recorded in November last year.
Furthermore, it is noted that core inflation1 was lower than total monthly inflation (at 0.3%). Thus, year-on-year inflation, as measured by this indicator, reached a rate of 3.3%, similar to the rate for October of this year and lower than the 3.4% rate recorded in November 2015.
