Evolución del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC): en noviembre de 2014

dc.descriptionLa inflación del mes de noviembre del año 2014, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del 0,7%, similar a la tasa observada en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año asciende al 3,5%, por debajo del 3,7% verificado en el mismo periodo en el año anterior. La inflación interanual, por su parte, fue del 3,5%, resultado igual al observado en el mes de octubre del corriente año, pero menor al 4,4% registrado en el mes de noviembre del año pasado. Por otro lado, se señala que la inflación núcleo1 se sitúo en un nivel inferior al de la inflación total mensual (en 0,3%). Así, la inflación interanual medida por este indicador, alcanzó una tasa del 3,2%, menor a la tasa del 3,3% verificado en el mes de octubre del corriente año, pero por encima de la tasa del 2,8% verificada en el mes de noviembre del año 2013.
dc.description.abstractInflation for November 2014, measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was 0.7%, similar to the rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year reached 3.5%, below the 3.7% observed in the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation, meanwhile, was 3.5%, the same as that observed in October of this year, but lower than the 4.4% recorded in November of last year. Furthermore, core inflation1 was lower than total monthly inflation (at 0.3%). Thus, year-on-year inflation, as measured by this indicator, reached a rate of 3.2%, lower than the 3.3% recorded in October of this year, but higher than the 2.8% recorded in November 2013.
