dc.descriptionLa inflación del mes de mayo del año 2010, medida por la variación del Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC), fue del -1%, inferior a la tasa del 0% observado en el mismo mes del año anterior. Con este resultado, la inflación acumulada en el año asciende al 1,6%, por encima del -0,9% verificado en el mismo periodo del año anterior. La inflación interanual, por su parte, fue del 4,5%, resultado inferior al 5,5% observado en el mes de abril del corriente año, pero mayor a la tasa del 2,2% registrado en el mes de mayo del año pasado.
dc.description.abstractInflation for May 2010, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), was -1%, lower than the 0% rate observed in the same month last year. With this result, cumulative inflation for the year reached 1.6%, above the -0.9% observed in the same period last year. Year-on-year inflation, meanwhile, was 4.5%, lower than the 5.5% observed in April of this year, but higher than the 2.2% rate recorded in May of last year.
